Subject: West Indian Fuzzy Chiton
Description: A small grey mollusk that clings to rocks.
Observations: Has a foot similar to a snail's but instead of a shell it has a series of self produced spiny plates called a girdle.
Interesting Fact: This specific species of chiton has hundreds of eyes in its girdle.
Personal Note & Picture: I've found quite a few in the cracks and crevices of rocks.
