Description: A species of flowering tree native to coastal beaches in America and the Caribbean. It's fruit is more pit than squishy stuff and comes in grape-like clusters.
Interesting Fact: The sap is sometimes used to dye leather. Tall plants behind beaches can help prevent baby sea turtles from being distracted by the lights from buildings.
